Tubechanger TC12

Our target by the development of the TC12 was to present to our customers the most economical Tubechanger system, by having improved automatic argon connection feature and an eye on a modern stress-free Refractory design.

Changing the SES (Subentry Shroud) during casting has become state-of-the-art of Slab Casters and provides:

• Extended life time of tundish, reduces number of flying tundish changes and improves productivity and yield loss of the caster.
• Improved steel flow control by maintaining optimal condition of SES which improves product quality.
• Possibility of instant and safe shut-off of the steel flow in case of operational problems.
